Terms of use and billing

Clear terms for a simple tool.

These terms cover your use of Read to Camera, its free output, monthly Pro plan, and lifetime unlock.

Effective September 1, 2026

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Read to Camera (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. Where they conflict, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.

The App is provided by Yurii Koshkin in Spain. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App does

The App lets you prepare a script, display it as a scrolling teleprompter, record front-camera video, preview a take, and save or share the result. Scripts and recording drafts are stored locally. The App does not provide cloud backup, an account, or a permanent internal video library.

3. Free output and Pro access

A new installation may create and successfully save or share one complete watermark-free video without Pro. The allowance is enforced locally and may reset after reinstalling the App or differ across devices. After it is used, a verified Monthly Pro subscription or Lifetime Pro purchase is required before starting another recording.

Monthly Pro and Lifetime Pro unlock the same local Pro features included in the current App version.

4. Monthly subscription and free trial

  • The localized price, billing period, and any trial offer are shown by the App Store before purchase.
  • A free trial is shown only when Apple determines that your account is eligible.
  • Unless you cancel, Monthly Pro automatically renews and Apple charges your account at the displayed price for each billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid being charged when an eligible trial ends, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Manage subscriptions with Apple.

5. Lifetime purchase

Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the App’s local Pro features for the Apple Account used to purchase it, subject to Apple’s restore and availability rules. It does not promise unbounded future cloud, AI, or other services with ongoing third-party cost. Any such future service may require a separate purchase.

6. Billing, restoration, and refunds

Apple processes all payments and refunds. We do not charge your payment method directly. Use Restore Purchases in the App with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable law at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of scripts and recordings you create. You are responsible for:

  • having the rights and permissions needed for your script, recording, people shown, music, trademarks, and other material;
  • complying with privacy, publicity, copyright, recording-consent, and other applicable laws;
  • reviewing your video before publishing or relying on it; and
  • maintaining your own backup of important scripts and exported recordings.

Do not use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activity.

8. Availability and changes

We may fix, change, add, or remove App features, provided this does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded. Device hardware, iOS behavior, storage, permissions, interruptions, and third-party services may affect recording or export. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, consumer guarantees, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost content, missed publication, or loss caused by use outside the App’s intended purpose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend access where required by law or where use materially violates these terms, subject to Apple’s platform rules and applicable consumer rights. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring a claim in a court or forum available under the law where you live.
