Clear terms for a simple tool.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Read to Camera (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. Where they conflict, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple.

The App is provided by Yurii Koshkin in Spain. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App does

The App lets you prepare a script, display it as a scrolling teleprompter, record front-camera video, preview a take, and save or share the result. Scripts and recording drafts are stored locally. The App does not provide cloud backup, an account, or a permanent internal video library.

In versions with introductory camera practice, you may choose a silent front-camera preview with a moving greeting before entering a script. Camera access is requested only after you choose the preview. Practice does not record a video or consume a free-output allowance. Transparent prompt text remains an on-screen reading guide, not part of an exported recording.

3. Recording access and Pro

We compare two access flows for new users: a first completed recording without Pro, or a Pro offer after the introduction and before recording. Your introduction shows the available access. Existing free-use allowances, saved work, and verified purchases are preserved. Unlimited recording requires a verified Monthly Pro or available Annual Pro subscription (including an eligible active annual trial) or Lifetime Pro purchase. Reinstalling is not a promised new allowance.

Monthly Pro, Annual Pro where available, and Lifetime Pro unlock the same local Pro features. Annual Pro is being introduced; the plans offered depend on your App version and Apple's product availability. Existing subscriptions are not moved to another plan automatically.

4. Subscriptions and introductory offers

• The localized price, billing period, and any trial offer are shown by the App Store before purchase.
• Monthly Pro has no introductory free trial. Where Annual Pro is offered, a three-day free trial appears only when Apple confirms eligibility. Older monthly offers and already-started trials remain governed by the terms Apple displayed when you subscribed. Unknown eligibility does not promise a trial.
• Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price. Monthly is billed each month; Annual Pro, where available, is billed for the full year, not in monthly installments. The App and Apple's purchase sheet show the full billed amount and annual renewal charge after any eligible trial.
• You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid being charged when an eligible trial ends, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the current subscription period.
• Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

5. Lifetime purchase

Lifetime Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the App’s local Pro features for the Apple Account used to purchase it, subject to Apple’s restore and availability rules. It does not promise unbounded future cloud, AI, or other services with ongoing third-party cost. Any such future service may require a separate purchase.

6. Billing, restoration, and refunds

Apple processes all payments and refunds. We do not charge your payment method directly. Use Restore Purchases in the App with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable law at reportaproblem.apple.com.

7. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of scripts and recordings you create. You are responsible for:

• having the rights and permissions needed for your script, recording, people shown, music, trademarks, and other material;
• complying with privacy, publicity, copyright, recording-consent, and other applicable laws;
• reviewing your video before publishing or relying on it; and
• maintaining your own backup of important scripts and exported recordings.

Do not use the App for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activity.

8. Availability and changes

We may fix, change, add, or remove App features, provided this does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded. Device hardware, iOS behavior, storage, permissions, interruptions, and third-party services may affect recording or export. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, consumer guarantees, or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost content, missed publication, or loss caused by use outside the App’s intended purpose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend access where required by law or where use materially violates these terms, subject to Apple’s platform rules and applicable consumer rights. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or your right to bring a claim in a court or forum available under the law where you live.
